어젯밤 커스틴이 너무 보고싶어서 유튜브를 보니까 저런 동영상이 있더라. 뭔지 몰라서 #DearMe 프로젝트가 뭔지 찾아봤다.

10대 시절의 자신의 모습을 기억하고 있나요? 만약 당신이 여자라면, 어린 시절이 더 힘들었을지 모릅니다. 소문의 대상이 되거나 친구들의 괴롭힘, 자기 회의 같은 문제들로 인해서 말입니다. 많은 여자 아이들이 자신을 찾는 과정에서 불확실성과 부담감을 경험하곤 합니다.
세계 여성의 날을 맞아 어린 시절의 자신에게 보내는 영상 편지를 유튜브에 공유하는 것을 제안해 봅니다.

어린 시절의 자기에게 메세지를 보내는 동시에, 비슷한 고민을 겪고 있는 10대 아이들에게 동영상으로 편지를 보내는 것이다. 해쉬태그 #DearMe와 함께.

짧은 동영상인데 좋은 말이 많아서 가져왔다.

고등학생일 때 미치랑 스캇 만난걸로 알고 있는데, 그거 말고는 자세하게는 모르지만 계속 들으면서 정말 멋진 사람이라고 생각했다. 앞으로도 응원해요 :-)

Dear me.

You'll gonna love high school.
You're going to meet some incredible friends, and really grow yourself as a performer and an individual.
Don't strive to be satisfactory. Don't get buy on everything just because you can.
Really take every opportunity and make the best of it.

Learn from everyone everything that comes into your life.
Your friends are your everything right now.

Your mom jokes other parents that she should send them^[각주:1] child's apart because they you're hanging out with them so often.
But I think you should grow up and realize how important family and home are, too.

So don't underestimate the time you get to spend with them before you run off to go to filling of dreams.

You want to be a singer, and actress. Any opportunity you can get.

But most of all you wanna family. A steady home. Because that's what turely matters to you. Don't forget that.

Don't let the people around you influence you too much, or you lose track of what's an important.

Trust me. Even in the future, we hate conflict.

We'd rather take the blame and let something (will?) over and stand underground. But this is your life.

And you have to make decisions for yourself. No one else is in control. You are.

Stand up for yourself. Don't be a jerk, but stand your ground for your believes even if everyone is bullying you to change.

We ran afraid most of our lives. Afraid people what disagree, afraid they'd live, but don't be afraid to be yourself.

Have condifence and what makes you you, and don't change that base on a fat of your fears.

It won't be an easy, and it will be a constant struggle beacuse you are such a people pleaser.

It will have a lot of setbacks along the way. Family issues, boys, all kinds of temptations.

But don't try to be someone you are not. You'll never succeed that way.

All you can be, is beautiful little you.

I hope you find happiness and confidence and what makes you special.

Don't be afraid to show it.

I love you very much, and don't give up.

You have many people that love and support you, and you will meet even more specatular peole along the way.

So you're never really alone.

You are strong. Don't forget that.
